We are almost close to finishing the short film 'Dear Sister'. Its been such a privilege to work on a project with such a strong social message. My hope is many people will become more aware of the dangers associated with human trafficking. Human trafficking has been dubbed 'morden day slavery'. As explicite as that may sound its only the tip of the iceberg with regards to how many suffer all over the world because of freedoms taken away from them. At most children are the most vulnerable. Many have watched the movie 'Taken'. As dramatic as that movie may have seemed it does address a very real problem that. It is my hope that with 'Dear Sister' we can localise the problem specific for the black community.
Although the short film touches on one aspect of the problem. It does show spring forth many of the stories happening on ground level of people who have disappeared in townships because they were chasing for greener pastures.

Films such as these are much needed on our screens. So much darkness lirks right under our street lights and most of us are oblivious to it. Its great to have a group of filmakers who are more concerned about world issues than just making money.Keep up the good work n let God be glorified!

You so write we need to be able to entertain but more importantly make films or any form of art that can be part of enriching and adding value to people's lives...
